Mantra Therapy for Chronic Anxiety, A Sound Bath for Pleasure and Joy

Ever wonder what it would feel like to calm your worries, anxieties, and fears using the sound of your own voice and the power of your own mind?

Whether it’s you or someone you love who struggles with chronic anxiety, it’s super helpful to remember that it changes our perceptual framework. (See PSA for Anxiety reel!)

When I figured this out, and started to get real friendly with my Vagus nerve with sound & mantra therapies, my cognitive scope widened and I no longer saw the world as out to get me.

Now it helps me remember to be compassionate when...

Money Health Day: Overcoming the Freeze Response!

Have you ever heard of a Money Health Day? It's something I've been (trying to) do once a month since getting turned on to FIRE (Financial Independence Retire Early) movement at the beginning of 2020.

As a teacher in the wellness space, I think investigating the "freeze / numb / collapse" response when it comes to money health is fascinating. I find the warm, slightly spicy soup to be great for my nervous system and because it's great for my digestion, it improves my overall vitality, which is great for my vocal health too! Sort of like panchakarma in a bowl, except it only costs...

Science of Sound & Mantra Healing: A Research Resource Guide

When I read the research summaries offered in the links below, my personal experience corroborates a resounding “YES!” to the many benefits they describe. I’m grateful to have discovered the healing effects of sound, singing, mantra, group singing, and prayer long before medical science confirmed their value, and I’m sure it’s just the beginning. Many medical experts and visionaries agree that sound is the medicine of the future, as it has been an integral part of healing and rejuvenation in Ayurveda for millennia.
