The Heart of Sound – Sound Yoga & Bhakti Retreat takes place from Thursday, June 11 to Sunday, June 14, 2026.

Arrival is possible on Thursday from 2:00 pm onwards.
You are welcome to arrive, settle into one of the shared dormitories, explore the house, and enjoy the surroundings by the lake.

The retreat officially begins at 4:00 pm on Thursday.
We kindly ask all participants to arrive by this time so we can start together.

The retreat concludes on Sunday after the final session at around 11:30 am.

Before the final session, we will tidy up the house together (e.g. stripping beds, vacuuming). This supports the retreat space and is part of our shared responsibility.

Each day follows a gentle yet energizing rhythm that balances practice, study, rest, and community.

Morning
We begin each morning with a sunrise chant by the lake, welcoming the day in stillness and sound.
This is followed by breakfast, and then a morning Nāda Yoga and chanting session, inviting deep listening, embodied practice, and connection with sound.

Midday
After the morning practice, we enjoy lunch and free time by the lake.
This time is open for swimming, sunbathing, walking, or a relaxing ride on the lake by pedal boat, allowing space for integration and rest.

Afternoon
Our afternoon sessions are held in a workshop-style format in small groups, where we explore and deepen our personal mantra practice through study, inquiry, and shared experience.

Evening
In the early evening, we come together for a joyful and heart-opening kīrtan, enjoying the power of singing and sounding together as a community.
After dinner, there is time to relax, connect with others, or enjoy personal practice and reflection.

Night
Before bedtime, we close the day with a short silent meditation, allowing the experiences of the day to settle and integrate.

Nestled close to the peaceful Einfelder See, our retreat home in Einfeld, Neumünster offers a spacious yoga room, comfortable shared living areas, a garden to relax in, and shared dormitory accommodation. An ideal setting for connection, rest, and deep practice.
