Yes, you math genius you, we've calculated to allow a day or two of flex! Because holidays. It'll still feel good to have a tether to practice (and community) even if you don't do everything perfectly.
We've already had our first LIVE group practice, but there will be more between now and January 1st. Sign up to get notified, meet the 100+ people joining us, and share the experience on our private FB group.
Registration and a few minutes of preparation are required for each live call. Additional led practices will be announced by email over the holidays, and we'll have a final one January 1st, 2022. Sign up to get notified!
By the end of our 10 days we hope to feel closer to you, clearer in mind/body/spirit, and ready to start 2022 on a resoundingly hopeful note!
"After a few weeks without joining any Heart of Sound practices, I missed the opportunity for self-connection. It feels like this big thing lacking in my life, like not eating or not sleeping. I missed the joy of beauty, of sound and music. Life was a bit duller, but it's brighter again once I did the practice. Instead of looking for pleasure outside, I'm getting it inside myself. What a revelation to have contentment and happiness accessible to me so consistently."
Anandra has studied in India extensively since 1997 and shares Sanskrit sounds, mantra meditation, and Indian music with global audiences at the behest of her beloved gurus.
She created the Heart of Sound, world’s first yoga teacher training based entirely on the transformative power of sound. She also founded the Sacred Sound Stage at the prestigious International Yoga Festival in Rishikesh (India) and the global Mantras for Peace subtle activism project. She has taught and sung at the world’s largest yoga festivals, and has been featured in Hindi, Russian, Japanese, German, and English press.
It breaks my heart to see so many people wrestling with a sense of shame, duty, obligation, performance, and competition when it comes to their self-connection practices. When presented with an opportunity to do the practice for the pleasure, as we invite in the Heart of Sound community, the contrast between that other way of relating is sharply apparent.
The invitation here is clear:
This holiday "reset" doesn't set up a performative expectation of purity that pushes us to spiritually bypass the uncomfortable sensations we're all managing. (It has been a tough couple of years!) No unreasonable glossy promises. No set-up for failure. Cheesepuffs and your favorite holiday things are welcome. Our reset is a simple, flexible, and all-embracing daily tether to connection. (There's no "should," just whatever works for you.)
If you've fallen out of a regular practice, great! Trust me, you're in good company.
This is a perfect EASY way to get back into rhythm. There's an abundance of acceptance here waiting for you. We'll ease into the New Year, and I hope we can all be gentle with ourselves.
Love, Anandra
