Welcome to your Himālayan Home!

Our India retreat schedule allows for deep practice and skills training, as well as delicious shared meals and community connection. There's plenty of time for rest, self-care and play in this very safe, foreigner-friendly holy city.

With abundant blessings from HH Chidanand Saraswati, who we'll also have satsang with, this retreat is sure to be a profoundly musical adventure!

"The depth of the Heart of Sound practices really blew my mind. To have such a supportive course structure and community creates a phenomenally safe space. I'm have the tools I need to develop a practice to exist more mindfully in the world."

Led by Anandra George

Anandra (Heart of Sound Founder) leads our morning chant experiences and offers the primary course content.

As a special treat for this India 2020 retreat only, her beloved music Guruji will initiate us into singing scales and lead us in special call-and-response rāga singing sessions!

Anandra's guru brother Sudhanshu Sharma, will also teach instrument home practice basics and be available for private lessons.

Our Heart of Sound teaching faculty will lead the afternoon yogāsana and integrative Sanskrit and mantra skills practice sessions.

Would you like to hear Guruji sing?

The Government of India and Indian Classical music community recently celebrated Guruji's 75th birthday and lifetime contribution in New Delhi. Here's a few minutes from the concert he gave on that night. It is BEYOND an honor that he'll come to initiate all of us beginners in his lineage of meditative Indian vocal technique!
